Purchased in the spring at 2 in Lexington, KY and transported for 22 days to California. Then taken off his car, rested for two days before travelled 250 miles on rough road to Fort Klamath. Broken at 3 and trained in 2:40. Raced at 5 for the first time, record of 2:44. In March 1885 he made his record of 2:26¾ hitched to a wagon weighing 115 pounds. Total of 20 races, winning 17 and two second places. From 1887 he moved first to Oregon and then Vancouver, Washington State where his breeding career really begun. Died Nov 13, 1902.
