Bird Parker won Prix de Belgique

This year’s Prix de Belgique turned out to be quite the drama today, for many of the horses, the big rehersal before the grand race Prix d’Amerique in two weeks. Bird Parker raced up front with Belina Josselyn behind. Down the final stretch, Jean Michel Bazire made himself  racing space by driving Bellina Josselyn straight into a competetor. The super mare left the others and crossed the wire as sinner. The judges felt that the driving was so irregular that they decided to disqualify Bazire from the victory worth around 50 000 dollars, and like last year, the Ready Cash son  Bird Parker was left as the winner of Prix d’Belgique. Belina Josselyn is regardless eligible for Prix d’Amerique the last Sunday of January, and by looking at her today, she looks like she will be one of the top contenders for the half a million dollar first prize.
